Olivier Messiaen – Oiseaux Exotiques Richard Valitutto, Piano Christopher Rountree, Conductor On Saturday January 14th, 2012 we played a show called Ornithology at The Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena. The program was centered around Messiaen’s Oiseaux Exotiques, which was surrounded by other avian-influenced music by: Haydn, Ferneyhough, Charlie Parker and Andrew Bird.
