Matisse Geenty

Home   Profile   Matisse Geenty

Matisse Geenty brings creative innovation and fresh objective thinking wherever she goes, helping achieve fast and lasting results in business growth. As a violinist with a passion for innovative arts and sustainability, she lends a unique blend of results-driven work that is both adaptive and intuitive to the demands of the modern creative economy.

Matisse is Associate Director of Fix Creative, a California based consulting firm that provides efficient, affordable and creative shared management solutions to the business of art. Focusing on practical, targeted assistance in project management, planning, fund development, proposal writing and marketing, Fix Creative acts as a catalyst– bringing projects from conception to reality– in performing, media and visual arts.

Prior to joining wild Up, Matisse was the Development Officer at the American Youth Symphony in Los Angeles where she worked to strengthen donor cultivation and grow institutional giving.

A self-described music junkie, Matisse spent a summer at New Amsterdam Presents as Development Intern, after which there was no turning back from the vast oasis that is new music.

A graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelors in Music, Matisse is thrilled to have made a home in the outdoorsy paradise that is California. She spends more time on her bike than in a car and attempts to try every new restaurant in her neighborhood. She can usually be spotted reading in a sunny cafe corner with a cappuccino or glass of red wine.
